Magnetic Gauge

This gauge is used as a guide for the edge of the fabric when sewing with a fixed seam allowance. A magnet allows you to reposition the gauge easily.

A strong magnet holds this gauge in place on the needle plate. This gauge can also be used with a metal needle plate on household sewing machines.
